Educational standards and guidelines vary across national and international curriculums. Considering many perspectives, we’ve identified certain skills, themes, and goals that are consistently present in social studies curriculum and have developed 5 standards that guide the design of the activities on our site: critical thinking, creative problem solving, civic engagement, communication, and perspective taking.
